To ensure the long-term proper operation of the RO plant, correct operation and maintenance are required.

First time startup

1) Before starting the machine, thoroughly clean the impurities and other pollutants of the pretreatment filters to prevent unqualified water from being injected into the RO plant membrane element

2) Open the inlet valve of the RO plant, close the lower discharge valve of the pretreatment filter, let the low-pressure and low-flow water flush out the air in the pressure vessel of the membrane shell, and open the exhaust valve of the precision filter to exhaust the air

3) During flushing and debugging, check if any pipeline connections and valves leaks

4) After flushing for a few minutes, after the air is exhausted, turn on the high-pressure pump and run at low pressure for a few minutes, then gradually close the valve to slowly increase the pressure until the ratio of product water to concentrated water is close to the design ratio, but note that the operating pressure does not exceed the design Upper limit

5) After the operation is stable and the conductivity of the produced water reaches the requirements, open the inlet valve of the produced water tank and close the discharge valve

Regular startup

1) In fact, the RO plant needs to be shut down and started frequently. Each cycle will involve changes in pressure and flow, which will cause mechanical stress to the membrane element, so the number of opening and closing times should be minimized.

2) At the same time, the smoother the normal starting procedure, the better, and the most important thing is that the water inlet pressure rises slowly

Regular shutdown

1) When shutting down the RO plant, it is necessary to gradually open the high-pressure concentrated water valve before the high-pressure pump is shut down, and it is strictly forbidden to drop the pressure suddenly

2) And use the product water as raw water for flushing to remove the high salt content in the membrane module until the conductivity of the concentrated water is equal to the inlet water

3) Completely close the water inlet valve after flushing. If the drain at the end of the concentrated water is lower than the pressure vessel, the air outlet in the concentrated water pipe must be higher than the highest point of the pressure vessel, otherwise the pressure vessel must be siphoned

When the system is shut down for more than 48 hours, you must pay attention to

1) The membrane elements of RO plant should be kept moist, if dry the performance will be reduced and cannot be recovered

2) If the plant has been shut down for more than 48 hours, and a certain amount of chemical solution needs to be added for maintenance

3) The RO plant should be protected from extreme temperature changes

Precautions

1) When the high-pressure pump is used for the first time, the exhaust valve must be opened to drain the residual air of the high-pressure pump

2) The high-pressure pump is strictly forbidden to run without water

3) The concentrated water regulating valve is used to adjust the pressure at the outlet of the high-pressure pump, it is strictly forbidden to close the concentrated water regulating valve completely
