1) Air flotation

Air flotation algae removal is to supply dissolved air water from the dissolved air system, and the algae in the water are adhered to the water by the bubbles in the water, so that they float on the surface of the pool, and are scraped off with a slag scraper. Air flotation algae removal is to separate algae from water by physical methods. The algae removal effect is good, and there is no adverse effect. The air flotation process needs to increase the return pressure water and the dissolved air system, which will increase the investment and operating costs, and also increases the difficulty of operation and management.

 

2) Chemical dosing

It is to use disinfectant to kill algae in water, and then remove them by subsequent precipitation and filtration processes. This method is simple and easy to operate. However, if a large amount of disinfectants such as chlorine be added, three substances will be produced, and there is also a risk of algal toxins exceeding the standard.

 

3) Biological pretreatment

It is to remove ammonia nitrogen and some organic matter through biological action. The main advantages of biological treatment are: the removal of NH3-N, NO2-N, and AOC has a significant effect, and it also has a certain removal effect on organic matter, chroma, odor, TOC, and turbidity. The disadvantage is that it occupies a large area, and the treatment effect is greatly affected by the water quality and water temperature.

 

4) Pre-chlorination

Pre-chlorination has been widely used to remove algae and degrade organic matter, and the cost is low. However, the disinfection by-products generated by chlorine and organic matter in water are very harmful to the human body so the technology be declined steadily.

 

5) Pre-ozonation

Pre-ozonation technology is mainly used to remove iron and manganese in groundwater, and degrade high-molecular organic matter. It is also be used to improve flocculation and clarification. In the application of pre-ozonation engineering, the main purpose is to assist coagulation. Studies have shown that the effect of pre-ozone in controlling disinfection by-products is relatively stable. Ozone pretreatment reduces the chlorination activity of organic matter in water by changing the physical and chemical properties of organic matter in water, so as to control the amount of disinfection by-products generated. But it should be noted that when the raw water contains a relatively high concentration of bromide ions or when ozone is added excessively, ozone preoxidation converts bromide ions into bromate ions, and increases the concentration of bromotrihalomethane and bromoacetic acid in the water. high. The pre-ozonation process occupies less area, and the process effect is not affected by factors such as season and temperature, and the effect is stable.
