The filter element of the cartridge filter is sucked flat

 

1) The cartridge filter is also called a security filter. It has a single or multiple filter elements inside. Under the action of pressure, the feed water passes through the filter material, the filter residue is left on the tube wall, and the filtrate flows out through the filter material to achieve the purpose of filtration. The cartridge filter is usually installed before the high-pressure pump to remove particles to protect the high-pressure pump and reverse osmosis equipment.

 

2) When the filter element be used for a long time and not replaced or cleaned in time, the resistance of the feed water through the filter element will increase. When the high-pressure pump is in operation, a vacuum state appears in the filter, causing the filter element to squash, the replace period usually be every 1-2 months.

 

3) The quality of the filter element is poor, and the support of the framework is insufficient, resulting in poor pressure resistance; or the cartridge filter accuracy is not appropriate, and the water inlet pressure exceeds the maximum working pressure of the filter element, which will also cause the filter element to flatten.

 

4) When the filter element is squashed, it will seriously affect the water purification effect; therefore, when designing the filter element, Haiyuan will comprehensively consider the operation situation and select the appropriate model to ensure the product water requirements and the service life of the reverse osmosis equipment.

 

Why high-lift water pump can not be used in low-lift situation

 

1) When designing reverse osmosis equipment, the selection of components is very important, especially the water pump as the core component for conveying improvement; many users prefer to select the pump with a higher lift than the actual need for a wider range of use and a longer service life, but for centrifugal pumps, when the pump model is determined, its power consumption is proportional to the actual pump and flow rate. In order to prevent the motor from overloading, it is generally required to use the pump pumping lift that actual calibrated lift must not be less than 60%

 

2) When a high-lift pump is used in a low-lift situation, it is easy to overload and cause the motor to heat up. In severe cases, the motor may be burned; if it is used in an emergency, it should be adjusted as much as possible to reduce the water flow to prevent the motor from overloading.

 

3) If the low-lift water pump is before the high-head water pump, the outlet pressure of the low-head water pump cannot exceed the upper limit of the inlet pressure of the high-lift water pump, otherwise excessive pressure leakage is likely to occur.
