Analyze the Water pressure of Reverse osmosis system

Problems that may occur if RO water treatment system working under excessive pressure:

1) Resin leakage during backwash

When the water pressure is too high, the degree of resin expansion during backwash may exceed the calculated value. And if the pores of upper water distributor are large enough, the resin can be very easy to to enter the multiple unit valve from the top and flow out along the drain pipe, at last causing resin leakage.

2) Abnormal valve action and unstable outlet water index

When the water pressure is too high, on the one side of the multiple unit valve piston or valve plate the pressure that exceeds the original calculation may be formed, so that the original motor of the valve body of the reverse osmosis water treatment system may not be smooth enough to drive the valve, which may cause abnormal valve actions, and if the untreated water flows to the water outlet through these ways will cause the outlet water index to be unstable.

After long-term use of reverse osmosis system, some problems may occur as below:

1) When the water pressure is low should be below reasons:

a) Unstable inlet water flow rate

b) System leakage

c) Insufficient water pressure at the inlet of the high-pressure pump or water leakage of pump

d) The cartridge filter is blocked

e) The high pressure pump is broken

2) When the water pressure is low should be below reasons:

a) Improper adjustment of high pressure pump

b) The pipes from high pressure pump and RO system is blocked

c) The concentrated water valve is blocked and concentrated water flow charge is small

d) Low recovery rate

If unstable water pressure occurs on reverse osmosis system, the reasons can be divided as internal and external parts. Such as unstable electricity and product water capacity are external reasons. If the feed water pump fails and cause unstable water pressure, please call professional technicians to repair.
