About Integrated sedimentation system Overview The integrated sedimentation system includes eight main units of water distribution, reaction, sedimentation, filtration, water collection, mud collection, and automatic backwash. Working principle Integrated sedimentation system consists of coagulation tank, sedimentation tank, filter tank, water quality stabilization dosing device, backwash device, water pump and electrical control cabinet. 1) Coagulation tank: WTH pipeline static mixer is used to automatically mix the coagulant through hydraulic power. The raw water to which the coagulant is added enters the coagulation tank from the inlet pipe, and is mixed with the coagulant by a special vortex reaction, so that the suspended solids in the water and the coagulant fully contact and react to form alum flowers. Generally, water purification devices use vortex reaction to mix water and coagulant, but the effect is unstable due to changes in water volume. The solid-liquid separation is completed through sedimentation in the trapezoidal inclined plate sedimentation chamber, and the settled sludge is discharged into the mud hopper 3) Filter tank: The water after sedimentation flows to the filter tank for filtration. The bottom of the filter tank structure is a water distribution pipe, the middle part is quartz sand, and the upper part is white coal. The filtration speed is 7~10m/h, the flushing intensity is 14~16L/㎡.s, and finally the clean water flows into the clean water pool for disinfection and drinking. The filter backwash period is about 12 hours, and the backwash time is 5-10 minutes. The filter part is filtered with polystyrene filter beads. Operation and Precautions 1) The Integrated sedimentation system should be installed indoors in freezing areas, and it can be installed outdoors in non-freezing areas, but it must be covered with a roof to avoid polluting water quality. 2) When installing, place the integrated water purification device on a flat site to ensure that the normal water output is uniform. All kinds of pipeline connection gate valves should be free from air leakage and water seepage. 3) Before the equipment is in operation, impurities in the pool must be eliminated, and attention must be paid to prevent blockage of the water inlet and outlet pipes. 4) When the seriously polluted water source contains a lot of organic matter or algae, the method of adding chlorine can be used to reduce the chroma, destroy the colloid in the water and remove the odor, and prevent the breeding of algae and moss in the pool. 5) Before starting the equipment, half-open the water inlet valve, and then start the water pump, first adopt a small water volume and normally open flow rate, and increase the coagulant dosage. After 60 minutes, open the large water inlet valve again, increase the water volume to the design level, and reduce the amount of coagulant added. 6) When the equipment recoils for the first time, the recoil gate should be adjusted to a given strength (mainly not to flush out the filter material), and the recoil time should be controlled. 7) The sewage pipe valve should be opened regularly to discharge the sludge in the sedimentation tank. 8) According to the local conditions, the relevant units shall conduct comprehensive analysis and testing on the quality of raw water and effluent water on a regular basis. 9) The water plant shall measure the turbidity of raw water, clarifier effluent and filter effluent on a daily basis.
