The main function of the sand filter is to remove the suspended matter and solid particles in the water; the suspended matter is the insoluble non colloidal solid matter in the water, which can be precipitated when the conditions are suitable and retained by the sand filter, so as to reduce the SDI value of the water and meet the water quality requirements of deep purification. The equipment has the advantages of low cost, low operation cost, simple operation, multiple use of filter material after backwashing and long service life of filter material.
