What is the Electrodeionization(EDI) water treatment plant?

EDI (Electrodeionization), also known as CEDI(Continuous Electro-deionization) technology, integrates electro dialysis technology and ion exchange technology.

Through the penetration of cation and anion ions to exchange, under the action of the electric field, the directional migration of ions in the water is realized, so as to achieve the deep purification and desalination of the water, with the filling resin is continuously regenerated by the hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions generated by the water electrolysis.

Therefore, the EDI water treatment plant can continuously produce high-quality DI water without the adding of acid and alkali for regeneration.
