Dongguan haiyuan water treatment received an order from a Philippine customer for a 40ft container groundwater project, and the customer provided the following information

Here is the information for solar power ground water desalination system (Reverse Osmosis)

1.The system is for  ground water on the project site.

The design point for ground water - Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is 15,000 ppm.

2.No special microbial content treatment needs to be considered.

The actual ground water pre-treatment requirements needed will be finalized during the final design phase.

For initial design purposes, please include a normal pretreatment package.

Please specify assumptions made regarding water quality for the initial design/costing.

3.There are 100 sites, each with a requirement of 300 cubic M/day.

All sites are located on islands – the systems will provide potable water.

4.Output required per hour for each site is 12,500 liters. -  12,500 L/h

5.Requirement for the product water :

The TDS level for treated water is 500 ppm or less.

The treated water quality shall meet WHO or other international standards.

6.Operating hours for the desalination plant is 24 hours, with a 95% uptime guarantee.

7.The solar system will be off-gridc

After discussing with the engineers, we have decided to design for the client,Due to the customer's need for 24-hour uninterrupted work, we have prepared an additional feed pump, mainly because adding a pump can keep the equipment running non-stop.

 So that Process flow: Source water tank→Booster pump→Quartz sand filter →Antiscaling device→5µ precision filter→1µ precision filter  →High pressure pump→RO Skid(CIP)→Product water holding tank
