RO plant,Reverse osmosis plants require a variety of pre-treatment techniques including softening, dechlorination, and anti-scalent treatment. Following pre-treatment, high levels of pressure send water through a semi-permeable membrane, which retains all contaminants but lets pure water pass through.Energy requirements depend on the concentration of salts and contaminants in the influent water; higher concentrations requires more energy to treat.
Reverse Osmosis plant remove up to 99.9% of salts and contaminates from different impure feed water sources including municipal, brackish and surface water. The system blocks bacteria, particles, sugars, proteins, dyes, and impurities that encompass a molecular weight of more than 150-250 Dalton.
I. RO water plant,reverse osmosis plant, ro unit process function introduce.
1). Feed pump: provide pressure to quartz sand filter/ activated carbon filter
2). Quartz sand filter: get rid of turbidity, suspended mater, organic matter, colloid ect.
3). Activated carbon filter: remove color, free chloride, organic matter, harmful matter and so on.
4). Micron filter: prevent any deposition of large Particles, most of the bacteria, and viruses going into RO membrane, the accuracy is 5 um, for holding back any large particulates such as large iron, dust, suspended matter, impurity.
5). High pressure pump: provide high pressure to RO membrane(at least 2.0Mpa)

To choose the most appropriate RO plant ro water palnt reverse osmosis plant, please have the following information ready
1. Feed Water TDS? (Total dissolved solids)? Is it from Borehole water/lake water or seawater? this information is very important and helps us choose the correct whole process.
2. Product water flow rate (m3/hr,m3/day,Liter/hr,GPM,GPD etc.)
3. Product water purpose( Meet WHO drinking water standard or industry process or others).
4. Iron and manganese must be removed before the water enters the RO plant.
5. TSS must be removed before entering the RO wate plant.
6. SDI(Silting Density Index)<3.
7. Water must be free from oils and grease.
8. Chlorine must be removed.
9. Available voltage, phase, and frequency (110V,220V, 380, 415V Single phase or 3 phase.).
10. Dimensions of the projected area where the reverse osmosis plant will be installed.
