HYWATER Water filtration system
Precautions for Ultrafiltration System Operation The membrane technology in water treatment filed can be divided based on terms of separation accuracy in four ways: microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis. These membrane separation products use the interception ability of specially manufactured porous materials to remove impurities of a certain particle size in water by physical retention. The accuracy of its filtration is related to the pore size of the filter membrane itself. It is usually customary to call the larger pore size microfiltration (0.1-1μm), while the smaller one is called ultrafiltration 0.02-0.1μm. According to the smaller pore size of the membrane, there are nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. Ultrafiltration system structure 1. The ultrafiltration system is mainly composed of three parts: pressure vessel, ultrafiltration membrane and system support. There are special connecting pipes and sealing rings at the ends of the membranes between the membranes. The ultrafiltration membrane is an asymmetric structure, which includes a dense skin layer and a porous support layer. This structure not only ensures a good separation effect, but also improves the membrane flux, reduces operating energy consumption, and resists fouling. 2. The ultrafiltration system is also equipped with a chemical dosing cleaning system and an automatic water backwashing system. It is mainly used for water backwashing and chemical cleaning to prevent membrane filament pollution and fouling. 3. The ultrafiltration system is divided into two types: internal pressure type and external pressure type. We use the internal pressure type ultrafiltration membrane, and the operation and backwashing are carried out in opposite directions. Ultrafiltration system membrane cleaning The operation of the ultrafiltration system depends on three important control indicators: Pollution index, product water turbidity, pressure difference between the inlet and outlet water of the ultrafiltration. These three control indicators directly affect the ultrafiltration. Ultrafiltration system membrane backwash & Chemial cleaning For ultrafiltation system, generally after 30 minutes operation, the backwash will be automatically processed. Based on different feed water qualities, different chemical cleaning agents be used. For groundwater, chemical dosing cleaning is performed after backwashing 50 times, and for surface water, dosing cleaning is performed after water backwashing 40 times. The general conventional chemical cleaning methods mainly include adding hydrochloric acid, adding sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide three kinds of chemicals: 1) The purpose of adding hydrochloric acid is to remove inorganic pollutants on the surface of the inner pores of the membrane, such as: calcium and magnesium scale, iron scale, 2) The purpose of adding sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide is to remove microorganisms, bacteria, organic matter and other pollutants.
