HYWATER Reverse Osmosis plant/system
Notes about Reverse Osmosis Equipment With the wide application of water purification equipment in different industries, the scope of application of reverse osmosis membranes has also increased. The reverse osmosis equipment has high filtration accuracy so cam completely filter out the pollutants in drinking water, so the cost also higher than other general water purification equipment, thus proper maintenance is required during operation to help prolong the service life of the equipment and reduce the operation cost. New reverse osmosis membrane elements are usually stored in sealed plastic bags after soaking in 1% NaHSO3 and 18% glycerol in water. Under the condition that the plastic bag is not broken, it will not affect the life and performance of the reverse osmosis membrane if it is stored for about 1 year. When the plastic bag is opened, it should be used as soon as possible to avoid adverse effects on the components due to the oxidation of NaHSO3 in the air. Therefore, the membrane should be used as soon as the packing bag be open. After the reverse osmosis equipment commissioning is completed, the membrane can be protected in two ways, if within 15-24 hours, use 2% formaldehyde solution to maintain; if within 2-6 hours, use 1% NaHSO3 aqueous solution to maintain (the air in the equipment pipeline should be exhausted to ensure that the equipment does not leakage, close all inlet and outlet valves). The general steps for cleaning reverse osmosis membrane elements are: 1. Pump product water from the cleaning tank (or corresponding water source) into the pressure vessel and drain for a few minutes. 2. Prepare the chemical agent in the cleaning tank with clean product water. 3. Circulate the cleaning solution in the pressure vessel for 1 hour or a preset time. 4. After the cleaning is completed, the cleaning tank is drained and rinsed, and then the cleaning tank is filled with clean product water for the next rinse. 5. Pump clean, free chlorine-free product water from the wash tank (or corresponding water source) into the pressure vessel and drain for a few minutes. 6. After flushing the reverse osmosis system, run the reverse osmosis system with the product water discharge valve open until the product water is clean, without foam or cleaning agent (usually 15-30 minutes). picture Of course, the maintenance of the reverse osmosis membrane should also include the addition of pretreatment. For reverse osmosis membrane elements, in most cases, the water source cannot directly enter the reverse osmosis membrane element, because the impurities contained in it will pollute the membrane element, affecting the stable operation of the system and the service life of the membrane element. Therefore, in order to ensure the stable operation of the reverse osmosis system, the pretreatment of the feed water is essential. For example, multi-media filters, activated carbon filters, scale inhibitors, security filters, etc., can eliminate suspended solids in water, reduce water turbidity, sterilize to prevent microbial growth, etc., which can prolong the service life of the equipment and reduce the operation cost. If the pretreatment system fails to function, pollutants and large particles will enter the reverse osmosis equipment, which will greatly reduce the life of the reverse osmosis membrane. Not only will it increase the operation cost of equipment, but it may also affect the product water quality More inquiries related to Reverse Osmosis Equipment please contact: Mob& Wechat& WhatsApp: (+86)13544774483 Email: sales010@water-sy.com We will provide high-quality, all-round comprehensive professional services for project consulting, system design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, personnel training, etc
