1. Using energy recovery devices, PX and Danfoss new energy recovery devices have very high efficiency, which can keep the ratio of electricity consumed by the RO system to about 2.6kW·h/m3 of product fresh water during the desalination process.

2. With the utilization of new membrane products, with the continuous improvement of the efficiency of energy recovery devices, more and more high-pressure RO membranes are used in the desalination process, and more and more low-pressure RO membranes are used in the brackish water desalination process.

3. The pretreatment process is updated. The latest pretreatment method is a full membrane method that combines the original three traditional methods of NF, UF and MF. The advantage of this pretreatment method is that it requires very few chemicals. The number of cleaning of the reverse osmosis membrane can also be relatively reduced, making the operation and management of the system more convenient and environmentally friendly.

4. When part of the concentrated water is used to reflux and the operating pressure is constantly controlled within the range of 8-10MPa, the system recovery rate can reach up to 60%.
