Common Fault and Maintenance Tips for Small reverse osmosis plant

I. The high pressure pump does not stop

1) The pressure of the high-pressure pump is not sufficient enough to reach the setting range

2) The check valve is blocked cause that can not produce product water

3) The high pressure part fails

II. The high pressure pump can work but do not produce product water

1) The pump lose the pressure

2) The inlet solenoid valve fails cause the feed water can not enter

3) The cartridge filters or RO membrane are block

4) The check valve fails

5) The auto flushing valve fails cause it can not be effectively closed

III. The product water capacity do not meet the demand

1) The cartridge filters are block

2) The pressure of high pressure pump is not sufficient

3) The RO membrane is block

4) The waste water valve is too conductive

IV. The high pressure pump does not start so can not produce product water

1) Check if the power fail and whether the plug is plugged in

2) Check if the low-voltage switch is malfunctioning and can not connect the power supply

3) Check if the water pump and transformer are short-circuited or if the circuit connect wrong

4) Check if the high-pressure switch or the water level controller is malfunctioning

V. The high pressure pump stop but keep producing waste concentrated water

1) The solenoid valve fail so can not effectively cut off water

2) The check calve pressure relief

VI. The taste of product water is bad

1) Check if the performance of RO membrane decrease

2) Check if the product water and waste water ends of the RO membrane shell are cut off or cracked.

3) Check if the size of end of RO membrane suitable or damaged

VII. The water leakage of part near the pipe interface

1) Check if the PE pipe head is cut flat

2) Check if the pipe plug is in place

3) Check if the nut is tight

VIII. The abnormal noise produced during the operation of system

1) Check if the check valve malfunctioning or aging

2) Check if there is the problem with quality of high pressure pump
