1) Precautions when using antiscalants in reverse osmosis equipment

Scale inhibitors are mainly used to make high-concentration water into low-concentration water, which can effectively remove the substances that are easy to scale and large particles of impurities in the water, so as to achieve the water quality standard of the influent water quality of the reverse osmosis equipment, and make the reverse osmosis The permeable membrane should not be fouled.

The input method of reverse osmosis antiscalant is generally to use a special dosing box, which will be added to the raw water regularly and quantitatively. The dosing point of reverse osmosis antiscalant is generally added before the filter. The dose of dosing mainly depends on whether the flow rate of the reverse osmosis equipment is proportional. The reverse osmosis antiscalant can reduce the pressure of the reverse osmosis equipment very well. If the impurities in the raw water are not treated with the antiscalant, the reverse osmosis membrane is very prone to scaling, which will not only affect the normal operation of the reverse osmosis equipment Operation will also affect the service life of the reverse osmosis membrane.

 

2) Precautions for the use of activated carbon filters for reverse osmosis equipment are as follows

a. When running the activated carbon filter for the first time, it should be exhausted. The process of exhausting is very simple. Open the exhaust valve, water inlet valve, water inflow, and then until the exhaust valve discharges water without air.

b. When backwashing the filter, the strength should be well controlled to avoid flushing and leakage of the filter material.

c. If the filter is restarted after a long-term shutdown, the filter material must be washed for about 5 minutes until the water out of the equipment becomes clear.

d. If it is a large filter, air scrubbing can be used to enhance the effect of backwashing.

e. When backwashing, the intensity of backwashing should be well controlled to avoid leakage of activated carbon flushing out of the system.

f. Depending on the quality of the influent water, it is necessary to replace the filter material regularly, generally speaking, it is advisable to replace it once every 8-12 months.

After the water being treated by the activated carbon filter, the organic matter, heavy metals, colloids and other impurities in the raw water can be well filtered, which greatly improves the water quality.

 

3) Offline cleaning steps of reverse osmosis membrane

a. First, replace the membrane elements to be cleaned on the reverse osmosis equipment with spare membrane elements with excellent performance, so as to ensure that the reverse osmosis system will not stop running and ensure the continuous stability of the entire production process.

b. Test the performance of reverse osmosis membrane elements

c. Check the current operating status of the system before cleaning the system; collect various parameters and indicators of the reverse osmosis system and make original records.

d. Judging the cleaning process according to the user's raw water analysis report, performance test results and known system information.

e. Identification of Contaminants. First, make a preliminary judgment based on the analysis results in 3.4, and then conduct further verification through special equipment and appliances to determine the specific pollutant type.

f. According to the analysis results, determine the required cleaning formula and concentration.

g. Perform experimental cleaning with the above cleaning agent combination treatment cleaning method on the special cleaning equipment for reverse osmosis, so as to select the appropriate cleaning formula and cleaning procedure.

h. Determine the cleaning method and process all the above membrane elements.

i. The cleaned membrane elements enter the test platform for testing and records, and those that do not meet the requirements will be re-sent to the cleaning equipment for processing.
