Working principle of water softener

There are many water treatment methods, and the water treatment technology selected by the water softener is ion exchange technology. All ion exchange resins in advanced water purifiers are usually sulfonate type sodium ion exchange resins.

Through the exchange of functional ions on the resin with calcium and magnesium ions in the water, harmful impurity ions (mainly calcium ions Ca and magnesium ions Mg) in the water are absorbed into the resin to achieve the purpose of purifying water.

To remove the impurities adsorbed by the resin, it is necessary to use sodium ions (Na) to replace the impurity ions adsorbed by the resin through ion exchange through the method of back washing, thereby restoring the adsorption capacity of the ion exchange resin. This process is also called ions. Exchange resin regeneration.

Characteristics of soft water salt

1. The purity of sodium chloride content of soft water salt is as high as 99.1%; it is completely food grade.

2. The soft water salt has the same shape, no adhesives, no bridges, no lumps, no collapse, no blockage of equipment, ensuring the quality and efficiency of soft water;

4. It can double the impurities in the water, which can increase the efficiency of the water softener, reduce maintenance, and extend the lifespan.

Water softener salt plays an important role in the water softener. If there is no water softener in the water softener, the ion exchange resin will gradually fail, and the corresponding water softener will lose the function of softening and purifying water. But it is not recommended to drink the water from the water softener directly, because the soft water salt can only remove calcium and magnesium ions and part of the suspended solids in the clean water, and cannot sterilize.

2) Each 25L cation resin need 3kg industrial salt, Regeneration liquid concentration: Around 30%-31%.Open the injection valves then let the liquid with water be injected into vessel, About need 60 minutes. After injected then need clean water flushing the resin about 40-50 minutes.
